      2What is dog daycare?
Dog daycare is a service that offers a safe and supervised environment for dogs to socialize, play, and receive care during the day while you’re at work or otherwise occupied. It provides companionship and stimulation for dogs, preventing boredom and loneliness.
3What are the benefits of dog boarding and daycare?
Dog boarding and daycare provide several benefits, including socialization opportunities for dogs to interact with other dogs and humans, regular exercise to keep them physically fit, mental stimulation through play and activities, and a safe and secure environment when owners are unable to be with their pets.
4What are the requirements for my dog to attend boarding or daycare?
In order to board your dog at Lucky Pets, we require a few things: Full pet registration includes requires a temperament assessment for all new dogs or those who haven't been with us for over 2 years and proof of vaccination. Required vaccines for dogs (Rabies, Distemper combo, Bordetella). Required vaccines for cats (Rabies & Feline Leukemia).
5How are dogs supervised during boarding and daycare?
We have staff members onsite who supervise the dogs throughout the day. They monitor interactions, ensure the dogs are playing safely, and provide necessary care and attention.
6My pet was just spayed/neutered, can I bring them in for daycare or boarding?
All pets that have been spayed or neutered must wait a minimum of 2 weeks after surgery before attending boarding or daycare. We cannot accept dogs with cones, stitches, or open wounds due to the increased risk of possible infection.
7My pet is on medication, can they still come in for daycare or boarding?
We can still take pets that need medication. We do not administer injectable medications. All medications must be brought in the original prescription bottle.
8What should I bring when boarding my dog?
When boarding your dog, there are a few things that you should always have, including: A collar and leash (Retractable leashes are not permitted at our facility).
